(partial)Traum Set……its about five minutes of their set. the first minute is in mono+it was recorded from across the room so it sounds a little less “hi-fi” then the other sets…but it still sounds pretty good……

(the)giants of gender set from the international noise conference a few weeks ago at now thats class. i didnt record it. thanx to The GOG for hooking it up w/ this “exclusive” track….ill find out the exact date hopefully…
it is with much sadness that i have to inform everyone of this news. brian AKA DJ mannequin man AKA DJ dr. david lee roth will be leaving our fantastic country for china at the end of august….i wish him much luck and hope that he does indeed find some crazy eastern instruments to jam on-and perhaps, inner peace….
hopefully thursday club can remain semi-active through long distance digital collaborations somehow… i still plan on trickling down the thursday club catalog from the past 7 years out there for the “masses” but this will indeed be a weird time for all of us… this gent has been a dear friend of mine for over a decade and he will be greatly missed : (
…so i just want to get this message out there for the “fans”(haha yeah right) and let them know.
we will be actively pursuing any invitations to perform, record, collaborate and all that other good stuff…
brian has supposedly opened his schedule much much more so hopefully we will have a very active summer…although im sure its not exactly easy to throw yr life aside and move to another country…i definitely look forward to releasing some of our recent studio recordings/jams/etc. including a killer split tape w/ emeralds, at least one or two more thursday club comp cds………….and perhaps, finally the full length studio album that has been in the works for some two or three years now.
DAMN. probably the most serious tone ive ever written in!
thursday club reunion in fall ‘09 perhaps????? i know that dude HATES rice(”whats the point? i dont get it”) so hopefully he doesn’t end up there for good. or meet some local noise god to replace me, haha….
